To whom it may concern,

Domestic pigeons are well suited for airline travel.  The temperature tolerance for a healthy domestic pigeon during travel can be as low as 0 F and as high as 95 F.  In cold weather, although, I recommend that pigeons be kept sheltered from the wind, and during warm weather that they are sheltered from the sun.  Pigeons should be shipped in a strong, crush proof, container that is well ventilated.  For matters of definition, a domestic pigeon is a pigeon of the show, racing, utility, or meat variety.

Sincerely,

Kevin A. Zollars D.V.M.
